Dream Sequence

Sidney had been sleeping pretty well the past few days. She hadn’t been having the strange dreams she had been having the last few weeks. But tonight, she woke up in a sweat because she was having a really good dream, but it brought her to tears because of the sad memories. She was back in college, and it was right before the second murders had occurred. She was actually dreaming of the time she heard about the movie theater murders. She remembered everything, and it was so vivid. Everything was playing out exactly as it had been. Then the dream sort of skipped ahead to when Randy, her best friend then, would have been murdered. But this time, she was with Randy, Gale, and Dewey when the killer called Randy. She stayed with Randy while Gale and Dewey went to try to find the killer. “Why are you even here Randy…” the killer, which Sidney now knew was Mrs. Loomis, was saying to Randy. Randy gave her a strange look, almost like he was embarrassed by what Mrs. Loomis had just said. He was starting to back away towards the white van, but Sidney knew she was in there. She pulled him away and took the phone and called Dewey’s cell. She was so glad she had saved Randy, and she wished she wouldn’t wake up from the dream because she wished she really could have saved Randy. The dream then skipped ahead to the Hollywood murders. Randy was still alive! Everything happened the same was, minus the video tapes Randy had made, and plus Randy was there to help. In the dream, Randy and Sidney were dating. Sidney had always known that Randy had a crush on her, and in the back of her head, she knew she liked him too. They were happy too… After everything happened, Randy was still well and breathing, and in the dream, Dewey wasn’t the only one who proposed. Randy had proposed to Sidney! But that’s when Sidney woke up from her wonderful dream… She kept going back and fourth in her head why she wasn’t there to save Randy, why she couldnt help him, and why things didn’t happen like in the dream. She wished she could go back so much… She missed Randy dearly, and would do anything for him to be alive…

“Hey guys!” Sidney said. she really was truely happy to see them. “Dinner is almost ready, so we can sit and talk for a bit,” Sidney suggested. She looked at Jill. She was really shocked athow much she resembled her aunt, her mom, and herself even. She accidentally started to kind of have a flashback of her highschool days.. and Billy. But she got out of it and lead them into the living room…

Jill smiled at her cousin as she lead them inside, making sure she let her mom go first and followed Sidney into the living room, standing for a minute before finally sitting down beside her mother. “How are you?” She asked, not wanting to seem shy around her family.

“I’m good, its wonderful to be back home. I really have missed Woodsboro so much…” Sidney said. She was happy to be home. “Home..” she thought in her head happily. “Hows school going? Oh and before i forget, does the english teacher Mrs. Tate still work there? I had her in high school,” Sidney asked. Mrs Tate was one of her favorite teachers when she was in school. She was always so nice to Sidney…

“Awesome!” Sidney said. Dinner was almost about done, and she was excited to see her family. As she walked to the front door, she reminded herself not to try to be to cool or anything just to impress her younger cousin. Jill really reminded Sidney of herself when she was younger. Since shee had really no family left, she really wanted to impress them and she wanted them to like her. Finally she got to the door and unlocked it.
